Evrenosbey “Inclusive Schools through Mediation” Activities
On April 24, as part of our “Inclusive Schools through Mediation” project, we carried out a meaningful set of activities with our students at Evrenosbey Middle School.
This week’s activities included:
- A “Feelings Map” workshop, where students explored primary and secondary emotions through various scenarios.
- Using post-it notes, students shared how they cope with different emotions, encouraging open dialogue in the classroom.
- Through group discussions, they reflected on shared feelings and gained emotional awareness.
- A “I‑Message” Workshop, where students learned to express their thoughts and emotions in a respectful and clear way using the “I‑message” format.
- They wrote their personalized messages on post-its and placed them on the board, reinforcing their effective communication skills.
These sessions helped students become more emotionally aware and contributed to building a more inclusive and empathetic school environment.
