Maijamäki school, Naantali: The training of students has begun!

At Maijamäki School, we have launched the next phase of the project and started training the students. The common training materials have been translated into Finnish, and we have compiled our own teaching materials related to them. For several years now, our school has had a selected group of peer students with whom we started the training.

We began by discussing various conflict situations, both in general and in the school environment. We also considered the benefits of mediation. As a group activity, the students created a mind map of the qualities of a good mediator. Next, we will focus on developing these qualities in the students and studying the stages of the mediation process.
